Value: $52.36/delivery ($59.50 worth of product)

The farm kitchen share includes items that are made on our farm in our own Certified Organic Kitchen. We make all our products with organic ingredients when available, and each item is labeled "organic" or "made with organic ingredients" depending on the percentage of ingredients that are organic. If we cannot source most of the ingredients organically, the product will not have the word organic on it (Ginger Scallion Dip).

You will receive 1 Dip, 1 Dressing, 1 Fermented or Pickled Veggie Jar, and 1 Pesto. We planned this so that you have sufficient time to use up the items that are more perishable and so that you get a nice variety of flavors. These items are meant to be accompaniments to your veggie share and we will suggest ways to use them in your CSA newsletter every other week. This share can only be purchased in addition to a Full or Partial Vegetable Share.

Fruit Add-On Share

Fruit Add-On Share*

18 Weeks  |  $150

July 3rd through October 29th.

Value: $8.33/week

INFORMATION ABOUT THE FRUIT SHARE

Briermere Farms, located in nearby Riverhead NY, provides fresh local fruit for our fruit share. The farm is not certified organic, however they certainly aim for as little conventional spray as possible given the wet climate of NY.  Many organic practices are integrated into the growing program and they produce their own compost as well.

The share has been downsized this season to only 1 bag/box/item per week. The cost is also significantly reduced. Please read through the share contents below CAREFULLY so you understand what fruit CAN grow on Long Island and that week to week you will be getting similar things depending on the time of year. If you do not LOVE apples, we suggest you do not participate in the share as the last month or two is primarily filled with apples.

It is an 18 week share beginning July 3rd and ending October 29th.  There is the possibility that the share will begin sooner, depending on the weather and the timing of the ripening of the fruit.  We will contact you if there is any change of starting date.

*You must be a vegetable share member to participate.
